Today is suppose to be the most depressing day of the year. I heard it on the news this morning. Why? I guess because christmas bills are coming due, no one is keeping their new years resolutions, and a bunch of other stuff. Someone actually came up with a formula to figure out that the 3rd Monday of the year is "the most depressing day".
Well, I would have to agree! Today has been a depressing day! Dad invited us to go to lunch with him, on the way, he ran over something you couldn't see in the snow. We heard a loud thunk as it came up and hit the car. We went in and started ordering lunch and a lady came up to us and asked if we had a white Suburban, we said yes. She then told us that our front right tire is low and she could see a hole and could hear air coming out! GrEaT!!!!
After lunch we went out to change the tire in 4 " of snow.........Jeff is in his nice work clothes! It looks pretty bad.......the other tires are getting very worn.......so 2 1/2 hours and $855.00 later we have four new tires.
I then came home to 6" of snow needing to be shoveled.
This has all come on top of a "GrEaT" month already:
*Lost wedding ring
*Sam drawing on leather couches with pen.
*$600.oo car repair bill
*New calling as Sunday School teacher to the biggest Brats on earth!
*Wild cat marking it's territory all over porch chair, cushions & pillows
Wow, so far 2008 has been great!
If you can't tell, the glass is half empty!
