Our Sweet Memories of Grandma Dallin
Stephanie's Memories:
* My favorite memory is and always will be, that I know Grandma loves me. She always showed her love and told me so.
* She would always call us "darlin" or "her dolly"
* Her shelling ice cream bucketfuls of pomegranate seeds
*Grandma was the best cook
*The time Grandma made all of the grandkids sleeping bags and bags to put them in. I remember the sleeping bags covering the basement floor.
*The many quilts Grandma made. I loved to lay down underneath and watch the needles go up and down.
*Grandma loved to spoil us, she would always tell us we could have anything we wanted.
*The beautiful needlepoint stockings handmade by Grandma
*All the wonderful Holidays that Grandma was at the center of organizing-- Easter in St. George; 4th of July at the cabin; Thanksgiving at the cabin; Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa's house! What wonderful memories that have come about because of those fun times!
* She loved our spouses like they were her own, and she treasured her great grandchildren.
*Grandma is a great example to me. She loves Grandpa with all her heart. She also loved her family and the gospel. She showed her love for these things through her word & deed.
